Colonel

Abbreviation: COL.

Class: Commissioned

Type: Leadership Based

 

The Colonel is the top rank and has full command of the Aces Wild. The Colonel works closely with the Command Group to run unit operations.

Lieutenant Colonel

Type: Command Based

 

Lieutenant Colonels command Battalion sized units in the Aces Wild. Each one runs their own Battalion and assists the Regiment's commander in making unit wide decisions.

 

They each oversee three companies and ensure that they run properly and adhear to the rules and regulations of the unit. Lieutenant Colonels are part of the Aces Wild Command Group and do not have a battlefield position.

Major

MAJ.png

Abbreviation: MAJ.

Class: Commissioned

Type: Leadership Based

 

The Major is the highest ranking pilot in a Company and is generally the Company's commanding officer.  The rank of Major is the highest battlefield responsible rank in Aces Wild. Majors must maintain and command their Companies in accordance with what regimental rules and regulations. Majors are to always to command unless otherwise stated during Aces Wild official operations. They lead the 1st lance in thier company.

Captain

Abbreviation: CPT.

Class: Commissioned

Type: Leadership Based Rank

 

Each Company in the Aces Wild is given one Captain to serve as the Company’s Executive Officer. The Captain leads the 2nd lance.  Captains are attached to a company as part of the Company Command Staff. Captains assist the Company Commander in running all Company operations and will step in should the Company Commander be absent.

Lieutenant

Type: Responsibility Based Rank

 

There is one Lieutenant per company. Lieutenants assist their Company Command Staff in running Company operations. Lieutenands command the 3rd comany lance.

First Sergeant

Abbreviation: 1SG.

Class: Non-Commissioned Officer

Type: Responsibility Based Rank

 

Each Company has one First Sergeant. The First Sergeant is in charge of a lance just like an officer. They command the 4th lance and also have the responsibility of assisting the Company Commander in training and drills for the Company or other special tasks assigned by their Company Command Staff.

Sergeant

Abbrivation: SGT.

Class: Non-Commissioned Officer

Type: Responsibility Based Rank

 

A sergeant is assigned to each lance to be the 2nd in command of that lance and take over if the commander is incapacitated. . They run  are in charge of the personnel under them.

Senior Mechwarrior

Abbreviation: SMW.

Class: Enlisted

Type: Time-Based

 

Pilots are automatically promoted to the rank of Senior Mechwarrior after six months of active service in the Aces Wild.

 

This is the highest rank a pilot can be given before they are required to take on more responsability and the last of the time based promotions.

Mechwarrior

Abbreviation: MW.

Class: Enlisted

Type: Time-Based

 

Pilots are automatically promoted to the rank of Mechwarrior after three months of active service in the Aces Wild.

Junior Mechwarrior

Abbreviation: JMW.

Class: Enlisted

Type: Time-Based

 

Pilots are automatically promoted to Junior Mechwarrior upon completing their probationary period and begin their active service in the Aces Wild. This rank is the lowest of the full member ranks.

Cadet

Abbreviation: CDT.

Class: Enlisted

Type: Initial Entry

 

The Cadet is the initial entry rank into the Aces Wild and are not considered full members yet.

 

Cadets are new to the unit and are still learning the ins and outs of being an Ace. They are resrticted from official Aces Wild operations until their probationary period is compete.
